OUR LOCATION

Centrally located in the Sunshine Coast hinterland — 90 minutes from Brisbane, 25 minutes from Noosa and 40 minutes from Maroochydore on Tourist Route 10 (Eumundi-Kenilworth) — Bellbunya provides the perfect opportunity for like-minded groups to come together and unwind.

The name 'Bellbunya' is derived from the Belli and Bunya pine trees that once grew profusely in the area, providing food for the local Aboriginal tribes. Built on the site of an ex-dairy farm, on 65 hectares of rolling hills backing on to natural forest, the lodge itself is set along a ridge amongst spectacular landscaped gardens. The traditional Queenslander-style dwellings have been designed and integrated in a way that recreates a village atmosphere.

At Bellbunya, we cater for one function only at a given time. For the length of your stay, your group is sole recipient of the family-style hospitality and warmth for which Bellbunya is renowned.

CONFERENCES

The Bellbunya Conference Centre was purpose built as a tranquil respite from the stressful challenges of the office environment.

A large, open-plan building is used as the actual conference room, accommodating a wide range of formal layouts. The excellent acoustic properties ensure ease of interaction between guests and speakers, while outside, the landscaped gardens and natural bush surrounds present inspirational opportunities for the active mind.

As well as the use of our conference facilities, which are inclusive with each package, Bellbunya also provides optional canoeing and abseiling activities. These are conducted a short distance from the lodge.
